Overview
Organic tiger nuts (chufa) are a nutritious tuber grown across our West African partner networks. Rich in natural fibre and oil, they are used for snacking, gluten-free flour and plant-based drinks. Soycain supplies uniform calibres suited to food industry and organic retail channels.
How to prepare it?
For raw consumption or plant milk, soak tubers 8–12 hours in cold water, rinse, then blend with water and strain. For snacking, light drying or roasting improves crunch.
